Preparation before Using Industrial Videoscopes
Before use, please read the operating instruction and make sure that the following items are in normal state: insertion tube, bending operation, imaging condition and lighting fiber.

Actions when Image Is Dim
1. Check if the lighting switch of optical fiber is on.
2. Make sure that the protective film on the LCD is removed.
3. Confirm that whether the camera system needs to be set at dark mode.
4. Whether the battery needs to be charged.

Actions when Image Is Twisted or Abnormal
1. Check the battery.
2. The working temperature of camera should be within -20℃~70℃, and please check the ambient temperature.
3. Restart the videoscope.

Differences between CCD and CMOS Used for Industrial Videoscopes
Depending on the working principle, CCD offers better image quality, but the production technique is very complicated which is monopolized by Japanese manufacturers. Usually, industrial videoscope uses 1/6-inch and 1/10-inch CCD, and they are very expensive.

On the other hand, if CMOS and CCD share the same resolution, CMOS sensor is much cheaper than CCD sensor, and the power consumption is also lower. Meanwhile, CMOS can be highly integrated with circuit, and it can combine ADC with signal processor as well, so the volume is reduced greatly. But the image quality of CMOS is not as good as CCD, and the reduction of noise is also a very important task for CMOS.

Now, CCD sensor is applied by medical videoscope and high-end industrial videoscope. CMOS sensor is used as the low-end product, and is adopted by normal and low-end industrial videoscope and medical laryngoscope.
